Term Paper

I suggest that you carefully read over the instructions provided below before beginning to write your paper. We will go over the instructions in class on September 2. However, we will not cover the topic of carbon dioxide increases and the potential climate changes that may occur until after the paper is due. The term paper should be based on your research. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Printed Paper (final version) due in class Thursday, October 16, 2014
Electronic copy of same paper must be sent to turnitin.com by end of the day October 17.

To upload your paper to turnitin.com, you need to do the following:

  1. Go to turnitin.com and create an account. The button for this is located in the top portion of the home page for turnitin. If you have already created an account for another class, then you are already registered and you do not need to do this again.
  2. Once registered, sign in to turnitin.com using email address and password. The sign in button is also found in the upper part of the turnitin.com homepage.
  3. Click on the "enroll in a class" button.
  4. For ATMO336, the class/section ID is 8808887and the enrollment password is climate. You may register at any time. It may be a good idea to register even before you are ready to upload to make sure there are no difficulties.
  5. To submit (upload) your term paper, select the course ATMO336 -- Fall 2014, from your student homepage, then click on the Submit button for the term paper assignment. You will then be asked to select the file from your local computer that you want to upload.
  6. This must be completed by the end of the day on October 17, 2014
