Next you will find your experiment score
if you have turned in an experiment, and the total number of 1S1P pts earned so far.
The Rainbows, Mirages, and the Green Flash reports and the Satellite Photographs of Clouds reports haven't been graded yet and are not included in the points total.


The writing grade estimate in the next column is based on both your experiment report grade and the total number of 1S1P pts you have earned.
It takes into account the fact that most students haven't yet earned 45 1S1P pts but assumes they will have by the end of the semester.
An average experiment report grade (32 pts out of 40) is assumed for students that haven't turned in a report yet just so that you can see the
effect that the writing grade will have on your overall grade.

The total number of extra credit points (earned on the Optional Assignments) is shown next.

The last two columns provide an estimate of the grade you will have at the end of the semester if "you keep on doing as you have been doing so far" this semester.
The first average (no quizzes dropped) is the one that must be 90.0 or above in order to not have to take the Final Exam.
The second average drops your lowest quiz grade.
