The Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Meteorology
The Department of Atmospheric Sciences, through The University of Arizona South, is offering a Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree (BAS) for students interested in the study of weather and the climate. The BAS allows students to fully utilize their Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree by applying those credits toward the BAS degree, effectively eliminating the first two years of study. By completing 60 additional credits, students can earn a BAS degree within two years of enrolling at the University of Arizona South. Students must have completed an AAS degree with a concentration in weather before applying to this program.
See BAS Description Page for more detailed information.
